PREPARE

Site preparation will ensure that the soils are prepared to support steady growth of the trees and that the trees are planted at a spacing that will ensure vigorous growth and maximum yields.

Site Preparation: (September - November)

1. Disk the field at least once to pulverize the top 2 inches of the soil.
2. Mark and subsoil the rows on a 12 foot grid.
3. Fertilize, if required.
